Founder-

Faith City PDX is being pioneered by Kevin Johnson, a Portland native, musician, and community builder with a passion for designing spaces that strengthen belonging and expand opportunity. Kevin’s work is rooted in the belief that environments matter—how people are welcomed, how culture is experienced, and how consistent, well-designed spaces can shape the life of a city.

Influenced by music, movement, architecture, and shared meals, Kevin is committed to creating a campus that feels intentional, alive, and accessible—where creatives, families, and community partners can gather to build something meaningful together. Through global travel and deep engagement with people and place, he has developed a perspective that connects across cultures and backgrounds with authenticity, humility, and care.

Kevin’s vision for Faith City is to establish a vibrant community campus in Portland—supporting culture and events, creative pathways, wellness and movement, nonprofit partnerships, and opportunities for youth and families.

Worship gatherings are also part of Faith City’s rhythm of life, reflecting Kevin’s spiritual foundation and commitment to faith expressed with excellence, sincerity, service, and love.

The Vision for Faith City PDX

Founder’s Statement

Faith City PDX is envisioned as a state-of-the-art community campus and cultural center—spiritually grounded and built with excellence, stewardship, and service. Our purpose is to contribute meaningfully to the creative, social, and spiritual life of Portland.

At its core, Faith City exists to create access: access to community, resources, mentorship, wellness, and inspiration. It is a place where people from all backgrounds are welcomed, supported, and empowered to grow with dignity and purpose.

Build With Us

Faith City PDX is in a foundational season, and we’re assembling a strong team of volunteers, creatives, mentors, and community builders who want to serve Portland with excellence.

If you’re interested in helping launch a whole-city community campus—through events, hospitality, operations, creative production, mentorship, or partnerships—we’d love to connect.
